Changing Lives...One Woman at a Time.

Our ProgramsDonate

In Northeast Tennessee, women exit crisis programs motivated and hopeful, but without the long-term structure required to sustain progress. The Magnolia Project closes that gap. Our six-month empowerment pathway — Foundation for the Future, Magnolia Momentum, and the GLOWE Summit retreat — is the continuity layer that turns short-term stabilization into long-term independence.

Our Mission

The Magnolia Project meets women in the space between crisis and stability — the long, often invisible work of rebuilding a life. Through six months of structured education, accountability, and sisterhood, we walk that climb with her, equipping her to turn the decision to survive into a life she has built to last.

Our Vision

We envision a Northeast Tennessee where no woman leaving crisis has to face the rebuilding alone — where she has access to the structure, community, and tools that allow her to move from surviving to building a life of lasting stability, dignity, and purpose.

The Six-Month Empowerment Pathway

Foundation for the Future

Phase 1: (Weeks 1–13)

Format: In-person, cohort-based, weekly sessions  |  Kingsport, Bristol and Johnson City

Duration: 13 weeks

Foundation for the Future establishes the groundwork for everything that follows. Participants build confidence, financial literacy, communication skills, career readiness, and a sense of personal agency through 13 weeks of structured, trauma-informed instruction.

Magnolia Momentum

Phase 2: (Weeks 14–26)

Format: Virtual, self-paced with live accountability touchpoints

Duration: 13 weeks

Magnolia Momentum is the application and integration phase. It addresses the most common failure point in empowerment programs: the gap between motivation and follow-through after initial success. Three sequenced courses deepen the work begun in Foundation for the Future.

GLOWE Summit

Phase 3: (2 Nights, 3 Days)

Format: Facilitated outdoor capstone retreat

Duration: 2 nights, 3 days

The GLOWE Summit is not a reward. It is a strategic transition point — the moment the full six-month journey culminates in reflection, recognition, and a forward-facing plan. Women arrive having walked the entire pathway. They leave knowing they have created a stable path and a life built to last.

Our Community Impact

At The Magnolia Project, we believe in the untapped potential of every woman. Our mission is to unlock this potential through a meticulously curated 26-week journey of professional and personal development. Designed for women facing adversity that are ready to leap into a future of possibilities, our program equips participants with the tools, knowledge, and networks to turn aspirations into reality. We have supported women in Northeast Tennessee, helping them find the strength and resilience to overcome adversity.
